Real Madrid - Lyon

It will be an intriguing clash today as Real is obliged to win in order to progress in the next stage of the tournament. Real plays difficult again Lyon and not only stats shows it, but the display in the previous game.
However I expect a game in which Real will dominate all over the pitch, while Lyon will try to hit the Whites by fast counter attacks. Hosts have some injury worries as Pepe is with long-term injury, while Drenthe and Benzema are both doubtful for the upcoming clash. In addition Marcelo and Alonso are suspended. Still Real is looking more dangerous than their opponents in attack where Ronaldo and Higuain are in hot form. Guti, Diarra, Granero and Kaka will be operating in the midfield, while Ramos, Albiol, Garay, Arbeloa will form the defensive line.
Lyon has no injury concerns ahead of the game and will line up their best starting eleven. Guests are not convincing away from home this year and will have a hard time today at Bernabeu. They posses quality players, but I doubt they will be able to neutralize Real offense although this season the defense of Lyon has been impressive so far.
An early goal for Real or Lyon could turn the game into a goal parade for sure and that is what I’m hoping for. Real needs to attack, while Lyon will have to defend and try to exploit mistakes in Real defensive line by using their powerful weapon of fast counters. I expect Real to edge the victory, but as odds for home win are joke I’m counting on goals here.
Good Luck!

Arsenal need only one point to secure their place in the next stage of the tournament. The Gunners are in good state of mind, although they feel that team was treated unfair in the game against Sunderland. I expect Arsenal to be highly motivated to win today and I see a really tough night for Standart. Liege side is far from their best and the form in Jupiler league shows team is suffering lately. Arsenal will go into this game with only one thought - to win with style and I see the sealing the 3 points with a big margin win.
Good Luck!

After United are sitting currently as the top side in Premiership standings I see them in great mood and full of confidence ahead of the game against the German Bundesliga winners. United won their opener in Champions League and a win over the Wolves will give them almost 100% of advancing to the next phase as they will collect 6 points. Read more

After trashing Espanyol away from home, it seems that Real Madrid players finally started playing more as a team and less and individuals. They coach for now has managed to motivate players good enough and Real Madrid is looking pretty strong. Zurich will have a hard time at home trying to avoid a loss against the high flying Spanish opponent. Read more

Atletico put a quite good performance in the first leg, but although they won I still do not want to write off Greece side chances as we all know and we all have seen what disaster could be the home side defence.

Anderlecht were completely trashed in the first leg that took place in France and players needs to gather all their strenght - both mental and psychical in order to win over Lyon at home, so as to forget the pathetic performance in Lyon earlier this month. Anderlecht will miss Van Famme and thier striker Jonathan Legear, while Lyon will feel the absence of Sidney govou and Grosso who are out due to various injuries.

I’m taking this bet early as I expect a huge dropping of odds for home win in the next couple of days. Celtic is well known for their fantastic performance at home ground and I doubt that the Russian team will have enough quality to oppose home side.

Anderlecht will host Sivasspor in the first leg in their quest to Champions Legue group stage and players of home side looks very motivated. Anderlecht as always plays solid at home in domestic mathches and especially in European games.
