Tunisia - Nigeria

 

A great clash is expected as both teams are currently leaders in their group. Nigeria and Tunisia made a 1:1 draw in their previous game, but it was back to the 2006.

However as this will be a derby game, both teams will be carefull at the back and will try to avoid mistakes in their defence and then to think about scoring a decisive goal.

A draw could satisfy both sides, but in such game it is too risky to pick up a winner. I’m headed to under 2.5 goals as Nigeria showed solid play at the back and Tunisia rarely conceede goals in their home matches. Both sides under a great deal of pressure to make a good display and this could easily lead to making mistakes and to be futile upfront. I expect low scoring game as the stake is too high for both teams and neither side will like to see itself defeated and with reduced chances of reaching WC 2010.

There are no important missings in both teams and Tunisia and Nigeria will line up their best starting eleven.
